James Marsh - Chief Executive Officer
James is an experienced executive with more than 30 years’ experience across the global industrial minerals and advanced materials sectors. He brings extensive expertise in kaolin, metakaolin, product development, technical marketing and commercialisation, having held senior technical, commercial and executive leadership roles with ASX-listed companies and international market leaders.
James spent 15 years with Imerys Minerals Limited, a global leader in industrial minerals, where he was a member of the company’s global kaolin calcination team responsible for advancing metakaolin production technologies and applications. During this time, he played a key role in the technical development, commercialisation and marketing of metakaolin products across operations in the United Kingdom, France and the United States, while contributing to the development of global intellectual property.
James holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from the University of the West of England, United Kingdom.
Scott Burkhart - Chief Operating Officer
Scott joined Zeotech in 2021 and has played a key role in advancing the Company’s corporate strategy, commercial partnerships and business development initiatives. He brings extensive experience in corporate finance, strategic planning and project execution, supporting Zeotech’s transition towards the commercialisation of its industrial materials portfolio.
Prior to joining Zeotech, Scott spent more than a decade in corporate and institutional banking with Westpac and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, where he developed expertise in corporate finance, business development and relationship management. During his banking career, Scott received the CEO’s Award in recognition of his outstanding performance and leadership.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Business (Management and Economics) from Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand.
Tim Anderson - Chief Commercial Officer
Tim is an experienced executive with more than 35 years’ experience across the industrial minerals, technology, water, energy, resources and engineering sectors. He brings extensive expertise in commercial strategy, business development, project delivery and technology commercialisation, with a proven track record of leading growth initiatives across both the private and public sectors.
Throughout his career, Tim has held a range of executive and senior leadership positions, including Chief Commercial Officer of an Australian industrial minerals company, Chief Executive Officer of a global water utility optimisation technology company, and Business Development Manager responsible for the commercialisation of intellectual property at a leading Australian university.
Tim holds an Honours Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Adelaide and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
Peter Tutbury - BDM Concrete
Peter is a concrete technology specialist with more than 27 years’ experience across the ready-mix concrete, fibre-reinforced concrete and construction materials industries. He brings extensive expertise in concrete mix design, product development, technical services, NATA-accredited laboratory testing and commercial application support.
Throughout his career, Peter has held senior technical and commercial roles with leading industry organisations, including Holcim Australia, where he spent more than 10 years as Technical Supervisor, Grace Construction Products, Active Minerals Australia, and IMCD Australia as Construction Business Development Manager.
Peter has extensive experience working with concrete producers, contractors, engineers and infrastructure stakeholders, providing technical support across product development, performance validation and commercial implementation. His deep industry knowledge and established relationships support the commercial development and market adoption of Zeotech’s AusPozz™ technology.
Dr. John Vogrin - Head of Projects, Research & Development
John leads Zeotech’s research and development activities, overseeing the Company’s in-house research program and serving as the principal technical representative across its university and collaborative research partnerships. He is an experienced chemical engineer and materials scientist specialising in advanced materials, zeolite synthesis, mineral processing and technology development.
John was awarded an Alumina Quality Workshop Scholarship and completed his PhD research on the hydrothermal synthesis of zeolites in industrial processes. His work is focused on developing innovative clean technologies that transform clay minerals and mining by-products into high-value advanced materials with commercial and environmental applications.
He has extensive expertise in materials characterisation and analytical techniques, including XRD, ICP, XRF, FE-SEM, TGA, PSD and Raman spectroscopy, supporting the development and optimisation of Zeotech’s proprietary technologies.
John holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Chemical and Metallurgical Engineering and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Queensland (UQ), Australia.
Anthony Spittle - Project Director (Operations)
Anthony is an accomplished operations executive with more than 40 years’ experience across the concrete, quarrying and logistics sectors. He brings extensive expertise in operational leadership, project delivery, business development and supply chain management, supported by a strong commercial and technical background.
Throughout his career, Anthony has held senior leadership positions with leading construction materials companies, including Boral and Holcim. Most recently, he served as Regional Operations Manager – Queensland Concrete at Holcim, where he was responsible for large-scale operations, multi-site teams and key customer relationships across the region.
Anthony has successfully established and managed mobile plant and equipment across major road, mining and dam infrastructure projects, as well as greenfield quarry developments. His extensive operational experience supports the advancement of Zeotech’s AusPozz™ and Direct Shipping Ore (DSO) initiatives, strengthening project execution, operational readiness and the commercial delivery of the Company’s expanding portfolio of industrial materials.
Connie Zhao - Office & Operations Manager
Connie has a particular interest in advancing the commercial application of zeolites to support methane abatement, environmental remediation and resource efficiency. Prior to joining Zeotech, Connie gained practical experience at a state-owned food waste management and recycling facility, where she was involved in recovering valuable by-products from municipal solid waste and supporting circular economy initiatives.
Connie holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Civil and Environmental Engineering, a Graduate Certificate in Data Science, and a Master of Business (Marketing and Leadership) from the University of Queensland (UQ), Australia.
Kieran Kelly - Laboratory Manager
Kieran is an experienced chemical engineer responsible for managing Zeotech’s laboratory operations and supporting the development, testing and optimisation of the Company’s advanced materials technologies. His expertise spans laboratory management, process development and experimental validation, helping translate research outcomes into commercially scalable solutions.
Prior to joining Zeotech, Kieran worked as a Research Technician at the University of Queensland’s School of Chemical Engineering, where he contributed to collaborative research programs focused on the development of the Company’s proprietary technologies.
Kieran holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical Engineering) and a Bachelor of Biotechnology (Honours) – Process Technology from the University of Queensland (UQ), Australia.

Sylvia Tulloch - Non-Executive Chair
Sylvia is an accomplished materials scientist and technology commercialisation specialist with extensive experience establishing, scaling and governing high-technology businesses. Her expertise spans advanced materials, mineral processing, clean technologies and innovation, with a strong focus on translating research into successful commercial ventures.
Throughout her career, Sylvia has founded and led two companies to ASX listing, served as an investor and director of numerous technology start-ups, and held a range of government advisory positions supporting innovation, renewable energy and advanced manufacturing.
Sylvia currently serves as Chair of the ACT Government Renewable Energy Innovation Fund (REIF) Business Advisory Board and Chair of GRIFFIN Accelerator, a collaborative innovation initiative involving leading research institutions, industry and investment partners. She has also served on numerous state and federal advisory committees focused on innovation, commercialisation and economic development.
Sylvia holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) and a Master of Science in Materials Science (MSc) from the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia.
Peter Zardo - Managing Director
Peter joined Zeotech as Chief Operating Officer in April 2020 and was appointed Managing Director in July 2020. He has played a pivotal role in transforming the Company into an industrial materials business focused on commercialising innovative technologies that support a lower-carbon future.
Prior to joining Zeotech, Peter spent more than 17 years with the Westpac Group, where he held senior leadership roles across corporate and institutional banking. Earlier in his career, Peter gained extensive experience in financial and equity markets.
Peter is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD) and brings extensive expertise in corporate finance, strategic partnerships, project development and commercialisation. His strong business advisory background and broad industry network have been instrumental in advancing Zeotech’s growth strategy and commercial partnerships.
Peter has undertaken studies in Applied Science at Charles Sturt University (CSU), Australia.
Shane Graham - Executive Director
Shane is an accomplished executive with more than 30 years’ experience across Australia’s building materials, construction and infrastructure sectors. He brings extensive expertise in executive leadership, operational management, major project delivery and commercial strategy, having held senior leadership positions with two of Australia’s leading building materials companies—Holcim Australia and Boral Limited.
During his five years at Holcim Australia, Shane served as Executive General Manager – Commercial & Major Projects, where he was responsible for securing major infrastructure opportunities nationwide, before being appointed Executive General Manager – Humes Australia, leading one of Australia’s largest precast concrete businesses.
Prior to joining Holcim, Shane spent more than 20 years with Boral Limited, holding a number of executive leadership roles, including Executive General Manager – Queensland with national oversight of Boral Concrete, before progressing to Executive General Manager – Major Projects & Project Management Office, where he led the delivery of major infrastructure projects across Australia.
Shane holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Australia.
Robert Downey - Non-Executive Director
Robert is an experienced corporate lawyer with extensive expertise in corporate law, international resources law, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and ASX-listed company governance. He has advised companies across all stages of the corporate lifecycle, from initial public offerings through to strategic transactions, growth and commercial development.
Robert has served as a trusted adviser, founder and director of numerous companies listed on the ASX, TSX and AIM, bringing significant experience in corporate governance, commercial negotiations and regulatory compliance. He is currently a Partner at Dominion Legal, a boutique corporate and commercial law firm based in Perth.
Robert holds a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB Hons).

Neville Bassett - Company Secretary
Neville is an experienced chartered accountant and corporate adviser with extensive expertise in corporate governance, capital markets, financial management and regulatory compliance. Through his corporate consulting practice, he advises ASX-listed and private companies on corporate, financial and strategic matters, supporting organisations through all stages of growth.
Throughout his career, Neville has been involved in numerous public company listings, capital raisings, mergers and acquisitions, providing comprehensive advice on matters relating to the Corporations Act, ASX Listing Rules, corporate taxation and corporate finance. His extensive experience in Australian financial markets supports the Company’s governance framework and regulatory compliance.
Neville holds a Bachelor of Business and is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (FCA). He was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in recognition of his significant service to the accounting profession and the community.
